September 2017 and back at work in the sanctuary. August was a chance to visit and explore Vietnam so I hope to put up a new guide for that shortly.

We took a boat from Phnom Penh to the Mekong Delta in Vietnam, on to Ho Chi Min City (still Saigon to the locals), Mui Ne, Nha Trang, and Hoi An, before flying Da Hang to Siem Reap. Some places much better than others in a very variable country. Highly recommend Vietnam though my preference is still Cambodia for the more friendly people. Details to follow!

It was nice to get away from Trump/Brexit/idiot politicians and of course work stresses for a while but its back to business now :-(.

There is hopefully a couple of Thailand trips on the horizon to keep the mind focussed on exploring more of SEA. Stay tuned…
