After arriving about noon in Pakse I had time to visit two local watefalls about 40km out of town on the best road I have ever ridden in SEA! Fell in with some Thai bikers, who after a friendly wave, I followed as they weaved between traffic with familiar speed that we just can’t do in Cambodia.
Tan Fan(e) was the first waterfall. One of the highest in SEA if the hype is true. Looks beautiful thats for certain. If you look very closely you migh see the two zip line routes. I was running late so didn’t give it a go. Wasn’t fear, honestly, honestly…

Next up Tad Yeung. Tad means waterfall in case you haven’t figured. You can climb down to this one, and it is fantastic. Exhausting climb back up if you are old and your knees are going to shit. So a friend tells me anyhow. Worth a visit for sure!

Thats as much of the Pakse loop I am doing, as I am saving my time for the Thakhet loop instead, which lies further north. Onward to Thakhet tomorrow, which is about 6 hours according to Google if you don’t stop. I will stop!
Catch you tomorrow! Adventurer!
